Seeking light, finding the light, here in Maine, offers warmth - sometimes subtle parts of year - and that warmth from the reflecting light is healing. From the working waterfront to the expansive pine lined shores, Maine’s coast offers us a place to breathe, reset and find subtle light and warmth. That is what I try to capture in my paintings: the gratitude I have for the light and lightness - the peace- so generously offered by the Maine landscape.
