My intentions were to create a body of work that gently encourages us to let go of any added weight and allow that heaviness to float away with the salty breeze, into the soft, sweeping skies. Because it’s time to celebrate love and connection and belonging. Summer time in Maine brings us together and this summer let’s savor it. This collection of work captures the places that reunite us on the edges of Casco Bay and Mt. Desert Narrows. The ever changing, light-filled, sweeping skies remind us to take all our cares away, leaving space for joy and connection once again.
